Tutorial Packets

Tutorial packets help students to paint at home, using what they have learned in workshops taught by the Prosopon School of Iconology or its affiliates. The instructions are based upon the school’s methods and techniques, and it is assumed that those painting from packets are familiar with the school’s terminology. Each packet contains extensive detailed text instructions about each step of the work and 12-24 color pages of step photos and placement guides. Level I packets are our smallest and simplest and best suited for beginners. Level II packets are for intermediate level painters. Level III packets are our largest, most complex packets and are based on our previously taught online classes. These packets were all created and were taught by Faye Drobnic at St. Elizabeth Icon Studio, an affiliate of the Prosopon School. Students who purchase tutorial packets may also enroll in critique classes for feedback on their work (more details on critique classes here).
